Procedure and principles

The SSC makes its expertise available to federal authorities and stakeholders. The Council aims to continuously improve the framework conditions for the Swiss ERI system, using a “policy for science” approach.

Working Programme

The Swiss Science Council SSC is the advisory body to the Confederation for all issues related to science, higher education, research and innovation policy. For each legislative period, the SSC develops a Working Programme in line with the political authorities' agenda.
